Open Call: the road to the ecological transition - join the European Commission Pavilion at 2025 ECOMONDO Expo

ECOMONDO is the key event for green and circular economy. This year’s edition will take place from 4 to 7 November 2025 in Rimini, Italy. The innovative international trade fair brings together all sectors around circular economy: from the recovery of materials and energy to sustainable development. 

The Green Technology Expo is a reference point in the international panorama, where leading companies of the sector meet and discover trends, innovations, new technologies and discuss with peers. For EIC this will be an ideal opportunity to exhibit the own great potential to various actors in the Green economy within the most accredited platform for Southern Europe!

If you are eager to showcase your unique products and services to an expert audience, address crucial challenges of the sector and explore countless business opportunities, then Ecomondo is the ideal place for you.

Applications are open until 30 July 2025, 12:00 CEST.

An evaluation committee in European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) is going to select applicants in the below application form by 14 August 2025.

Who can apply?

Specifically, we are looking for EIC-funded companies working on innovative projects in the following fields: 

• Waste as resources
• Water Cycle & Blue Economy
• Bioenergy & Agriculture
• Renewable energy sources, green energy generation and long-term energy storage
• Circular & Regenerative Bio-Economy
• Sites & Soil Restoration
• Environmental Monitoring and Earth Observation

What’s in it for you?

The 10 selected EIC-funded companies will have access to a free booth for two days to exhibit their innovations at the European Commission Pavilion; also, they will have access to potential networking opportunities with all stakeholders present at the fair and to a pitching session.
